Bonjour à toutes. En route chez Stéphanie pour découvrir son test sur le livre photo de chez Saal-Digital. Stéphanie fait partie du Panel de Mamans lectrices Testeuses de Mamantestavis.

“La photo, j’adore. J’ai l’habitude, qu’on me demande de faire des photos pour un événement particulier, d’offrir une version papier des photos prises. C’est souvent sous la forme d’un livre photo.
Autant vous dire que j’en ai testé pas mal. Cependant, je ne connaissais pas Saal-digital.

Quand j’ai vu qu’Alexandra du blog Mamantestavis proposait un test, j’ai sauté sur l’occasion. J’ai eu la chance d’être sélectionnée (et je remercie grandement Alexandra de m’avoir fait confiance).
Allez, on passe au test proprement dit…

La création du livre :

Une fois sur le site, il suffit de télécharger le logiciel qui permet de créer le livre photo.

Le logiciel est assez facile d’utilisation. Bon, on patouille un peu au tout début mais il est ergonomique et intuitif.
Le site propose un large choix de format de livre et de mise en forme.

Point positif (et non des moindres) : le prix est affiché en temps réel. Pas de mauvaise surprise. Le hic, c’est de se décider sur le modèle souhaité tant l’offre est importante.
Bon, je me suis décidée, je passe à la création.

Pour gagner un temps précieux, le logiciel permet de sélectionner un dossier avec les photos choisies (d’où l’utilité de préparer un petit dossier avant). Ca évite les allers/retours inutiles et chronophages.
Je me suis éclatée à mettre en forme mes photos, à les installer. Autre point positif que je n’ai pas vu ailleurs : des clips arts assez marrants et à profusion. J’avoue ne pas les avoir utilisés car je voulais un livre “pro” à montrer à ceux qui veulent voir mon humble “travail” de photographe dilettante.
A la fin de la mise en page, le logiciel propose une vérification de toutes les pages, histoire de voir si le projet nous plaît (ou pas).
Bon, mon livre est créé. Il passe à la confection. Là, ça prend un peu de temps. Les photos doivent charger une à une.

Je dois dire que l’expédition a été très rapide ! La commande a été passée samedi soir et j’ai reçu un mail le lundi me prévenant de l’expédition. Jeudi matin, il était là, je n’ai jamais vu ça…

Le Livre :

Le livre arrive très bien emballé (pas moins de 2 couches en plus du carton).
1ere impression : le rendu des photos en noir et blanc est très très satisfaisant. Les contrastes ressortent bien.

En revanche, un peu plus mitigée pour le rendu des photos en couleurs. Elles sont assez ternes et manquent de “peps”. Je ne sais pas si c’est le fait que j’ai choisi l’option “mat” (je n’aime pas trop le rendu “brillant” mais ça reste un avis personnel).
Aucun problème de pixelisation. Les photos sont d’une netteté impressionnante. Il faut dire que lors de la création, le logiciel indique la qualité de la photo (ça aide pas mal)
Les pages sont très solides. On peut donc les tourner et retourner sans soucis.
Enfin, le livre s’ouvre en très grand sans problème et ne s’abîme pas au niveau de la tranche.

Petit bémol : aucune page de garde. Les photos arrivent directement sur les couvertures internes. Personnellement, ça ne me dérange pas trop mais ça peut destabiliser.

 

En conclusion :
Je suis plus que satisfaite par ce produit.
Les plus : très beau rendu pour les photos en noir et blanc, délais de création et d’expédition ultra rapides.
Les moins (tout est relatif) : rendu des couleurs un peu pâle et terne
manque la page de garde.”
