On se retrouve cet après midi pour parler d’un sujet important : l’adoption.

Avec les difficultés que je rencontre pour avoir un deuxième enfant, j’ai pensé me tourner vers l’adoption.

Depuis toujours, je trouve ce geste magnifique : pouvoir donner à un enfant l’amour et la famille qu’il n’a pas eu.

Après de longues discussions avec mon conjoint, un petit peu moins emballé que moi (il souhaite encore croire à un deuxième bébé naturel) nous avons décidé de nous renseigner sur les différentes démarches.

Bien sûr, le parcours de l’adoption, bien qu’inconnu, peut faire peur et je m’attendais à tout sauf à avoir ce que j’ai eu en face de moi.

Dans un premier temps, pour adopter, vous devez être marié depuis plus de deux ans. Si vous vivez en concubinage, l’adoption ne pourra être prononcée que pour un seul parent. Par exemple, si c’est vous qui adoptez, votre conjoint n’aura pas l’autorité parentale et ne sera pas reconnu comme “parent”.

Premier point qui me dépasse. Bien entendu un foyer doit être stable et sécurisant mais un couple non marié peut tout aussi bien être soudé.

Le mariage n’est ni un gage de durée ni de de sécurité, cela se saurait.

Vous pouvez faire une demande d’adoption à partir de 28 ans et pas avant… Et oui, si vous avez 25, 26 ou 27 ans, vous n’êtes sûrement pas être assez mûre…

Bref, vous l’aurez compris, je trouve l’encadrement de l’adoption complétement ridicule.

J’aurais plutôt aimé une étude de dossier au cas par cas par les agences d’adoption et l’assistante sociale.

Je n’adopterai jamais seule, j’ai commencé ma vie avec mon conjoint et je la finirai à ses côtés auprès de nos enfants. Se marier uniquement pour adopter n’est pas une solution mais plutôt une grosse hypocrisie et je ne suis pas pressée pour le moment. Tant que ma famille est soudée et heureuse, cela me va.

Abordons maintenant le délai d’adoption. Après votre demande d’agrément envoyée au Conseil Général, il vous faudra patienter de 9 à 11 mois pour obtenir une réponse positive ou négative.

En cas de refus, un délai de 30 mois pour représenter une nouvelle demande vous sera demandé. Il est donc nécessaire de bien réfléchir à votre situation avant de sauter le pas.

Une fois la demande acceptée, c’est le début d’un nouveau parcours qui vous rapproche de l’enfant tant désiré.

Vous aurez alors le choix d’adopter un enfant pupille de l’état, un enfant étranger, faire appel à un organisme OOA ou bien encore adopter un enfant à besoins spécifiques.

Etant donné que nous ne remplissons pas les conditions d’un point de vue marital ainsi que pour mon âge (25ans) nous avons, à contrecœur, abandonné l’idée de l’adoption.

Je déplore les lois qui peuvent nous paraître tellement injustes. Beaucoup de parents ne pouvant pas avoir d’enfant n’attendent que ce petit bonheur et le cas par cas devrait bien plus souvent être pris en compte.
